ASICLAND Announces 1H 2025 Results… Losses Narrow on Cost Efficiency

▶ Improved cost ratio and reduced SG&A expenses drive quarterly profit structure improvement

▶ Acceleration of advanced process and chiplet platform development lays foundation for mid- to long-term growth

▶ Expanded hiring at Taiwan R&D Center and strengthened capabilities in leading-edge process and CoWoS packaging technologies

[August 18, 2025] ASIC design solutions leader ASICLAND (KOSDAQ: 445090, CEO Jongmin Lee) today announced its financial results for the first half of 2025.

For the second quarter of 2025 (consolidated basis), ASLAND recorded KRW 14.7 billion in revenue and an operating loss of KRW 5.2 billion. Cumulative results for the first half of 2025 were KRW 30.5 billion in revenue and an operating loss of KRW 13.2 billion.

Although revenue declined by 7% QoQ, the company successfully narrowed its operating loss by approximately 34% QoQ, supported by improvements in the cost ratio and reductions in SG&A expenses. This reflects the company’s efforts in cost efficiency and restoring profitability.

The first-half performance also reflects strategic investments to secure long-term global growth and core infrastructure, including ▲adjustments in development schedules with key customers ▲personnel expansion at the Taiwan R&D Center ▲overseas marketing initiatives ▲strengthening of cybersecurity ▲and the expansion of IP and R&D infrastructure.

In particular, the company highlighted that the Taiwan R&D Center has enhanced capabilities in leading-edge processes (3nm, 5nm) and advanced packaging technologies (Chiplet, CoWoS), bolstering its ability to win new projects from global customers. Furthermore, ASICLAND is expanding marketing activities to strengthen its presence in AI semiconductors, memory design, and high-performance computing (HPC) as next-generation growth drivers.

A company spokesperson stated: “In the short term, costs have increased due to expanded investments, but these are essential steps to strengthen our technological competitiveness. Based on the technology and infrastructure we have secured, we will enhance our ability to win new and high-value projects, thereby continuing to improve our financial performance.”
