ASICLAND Receives Presidential Citation for 'Job Creation Government Award'

ASICLAND (CEO Jongmin Lee) announced on the 6th that it received the Presidential Citation in the youth employment promotion category at the '2023 Job Creation Government Award Ceremony' organized by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, with Vice President Jangsik Jang representing the company.
This ceremony was established to reward individuals or organizations that have significantly contributed to increasing the number of jobs and improving job quality by exemplary practices in work-life balance and expanding employment for both young and older generations. ASICLAND was recognized for its contributions to creating a family-friendly corporate culture and expanding youth employment.
Since its founding, the company has achieved continuous employment growth of 150% over five years, maintained 100% regular employee hiring, and has kept more than 70% of its new hires since 2021 as young people. As part of creating a family-friendly corporate culture, ASICLAND has implemented various welfare policies such as offering stock options for improving work environments and sharing vision, providing dormitories for remote employees and long-distance commuters, implementing a 10 am to 6 pm work schedule, early leave at 4 pm every Friday, a 90-minute lunch break, in-house sports facilities (golf, table tennis, game room), and in-house English classes.
The company is also committed to smooth communication with young employees through various committees, including the labor-management council and grievance committee, as well as creating and operating various consultative bodies for internal welfare.
